- Where should I store my downloaded video lesson on my computer?
You can store your downloaded video lesson anywhere you like on your own computer. Just make sure that you remember the location where you saved your download file, and the name of the file. If you choose to save to your Desktop this often allows you to find the file quickly and then store the digital in a folder of your choosing. We have designed our video lessons to work with Apple’s iTunes so if you use iTunes for your digital music you can add your video lessons to your iTunes movies library.
- I have finished downloading the video lesson; where do I find it?
The best way to know where your video lesson is saved is to pay close attention to the “Save As” window at the beginning of the download process. Once you have clicked the download button and selected the option to save the file, you will be presented with the “Save As” window which shows you exactly where your video lesson is being saved on your computer. If you know the filename you can always search for the file on your computer.
- How long will it take for a video lesson to download?
The download time will vary due to a number of factors. The length of the video lesson itself, your internet connection speed, and internet traffic and congestion are all factors that will affect your download speed, in most areas however a video will download in well under one minute!
- My video lesson downloaded successfully but it will not play on my computer?
Check and make sure that you are running the most up to date version of REAL Player or QUICKTIME Player or VLC Media Player on your computer. Other digital media players may work but these are our recommended players. If you have tried this and still have no success you may want to try downloading your video lesson again as the file may not have downloaded correctly the first time. If none of these options work contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Why does the video play slowly?
In most cases the video plays slowly due to the internet connection speed that your computer or handheld device is connected to. If this is the case wait for the video to load in full then play.
- Why does the video sometimes appear grainy or blurry when enlarged?
In many of our videos released early in our existence the videos had been optimized for portable device viewing and quick download speeds, so the video quality can deteriorate when watched on large screens and are not intended for large screen viewing. All our videos now and moving into the future will be released in full HIGH DEFINITION and will be great for viewing on larger screens.
