This is the second lesson in Brian Orsers eight part series on how to “Get speed for Free”. In this great lesson you will learn some basic forward inside edges. You will learn how to keep your weight over top of your feet for as long as possible. Then Brian explains how to have a nice soft knee and have a little breath (knee action) to allow a nice rythym on the transition from one foot to another to give you “speed for free”.
Brian then shows the importance of good balance and demonstrates this very helpful exercise. You will see and hear how this exercise should be done. You will then feel in control and be able to do what ever you want when you are skating.
