Rolling Threes Like A Square Exercise

Product Description

In this 2 minute and 18 second video lesson Robert Tebby demonstrates an interesting exercise in which he does a series of forward rolling threes on his left foot and along a line in one direction. He then opens up to stop his rotation before performing a series of backward rolling threes on his right foot along a line that is at a 90 degree angle to the first line. He repeats this series of moves but this time his forward rolling threes are performed on his right foot followed by backward rolling threes on his left foot. When finished, Robert has skated a square composed of forward and backward rolling threes. Robert tells students they should be on the middle part of their blade when performing this exercise.

Robert stresses that it is always the right time to look good. Though you may not feel that you executed a move as well as possible, always finish it off as if you have performed perfectly. In other words, “Sell it!”
