Douglas gives us some great exercises using half flips. this helps feel a continuous rhythm. He uses a half flip, half flip single flip then double flip. All of these great exercises create muscle memory. Douglas compares it to a rock skipping over the water.
He then introduces the backwards entry that can create rhythm and in this 2 minute 56 lesson he also talks about your arms and the three turn placement. You will hear about the jumping sling shot effect which is done with your shoulder blades. You can then do single flip jumps with small hops before picking which also creates great rhythm.
