This is the second lesson in Stephane’s two part axel series. This lesson focuses on edge pressure. Stephane teaches a very important edge acceleration exercise. He shows the importance of maintaining a strong position while you draw your arms back.
He then shows and coaches his skater and you can see even more detail on this exercise. You will see the leg placement and a common mistake skaters will make.
You will then see a demonstration of a double axel in normal speed and in slow motion. This really allows you to see the exact piece of the double or single axel you are working on.
