Douglas Haw goes over the common errors in the toe loop, they are as follows, the skater anticipates the jump the hooks the three turn then everything is like “a dog chasing his tail”.  Not a good thing on your take off.  You must emphasis that the three turn is on a diagonal.   This gives your jump proper direction.

Doug then gives great landing tips.  This creates a running edge with your toe turned out and your hips rotate with the circle.  You will hear where the arms go to check your rotation and make a pleasing landing position.  This will ensure a good quality landing.  all of these great tips are in this 2 minute and 11 second video lesson.
