Your tuck is very important let’s get it right. If you don’t tuck in a flying sit you will lose valuable points. Paige teaches an exercise to help you get your heel tucked in under your butt. You will learn to make a V with your arms and keep your back up straight to help the position required by the ISU rules.
The entry edge should be long and if you wait and take your time you will get a successful tuck. This exercise doesn’t even require a sit position but it will be easy to hit the sit in the 2 rotation requirement once you get the tuck. This is a great warm up exercise for the flying sit.
