Everyone knows the key to great jumping is having good strong take offs. This lesson will explain foot and leg placement and also focuses on the pressure into the ice on your take off. You will learn the importance of backing up on your take off.
You will learn a very helpful exercise that your coach can help you with. You will really feel backing up on your take off. This is a critical part of your loop jump. You must let your jump back up before you rotate.
You will see some very helpful demonstrations in this lesson in both normal speed and slow motion.
