This spin warm up is great for balance. You will see in this 2 minute 29 second lesson that you begin with a one foot spin then jump to a back spin with a loop jump exit. You will then see many skaters including Brian execute this warm up. Brian and skater Javier Fernandez created this exercise together. Javier uses this exercise every session to warm up.
Brian then adds a sit spin warm up exercise. These exercises are critical to get your legs and glutes going. Brian explains the use of your muscles and discusses the importance of these muscles while you are skating.
